Our Guide told us that in the townships around capetown the people have their own laws and rules. So it was a comon thing to do self justice in case of stealing, raping and murdering. One of the penalizations was to put a tire around the committers neck, to dowse it with gasoline and then to set it on fire. It is been called ´Necklacing´. Everytime I saw a fire at a township I stared shivering. Despite the beauty it is a cruel world outside.
This was one of my first fashion shootings, back in the day with Danae, D´Arcy Foxx. Just had my analogue camera with me during my first stay in Athens due to security resasons.
I love going through old photographs and then suddenly see an image you fall in love with, it´s like dating someone from the past.

Last year I ve spent a day with some greek skaters on a very hot day. I ve never published these photos, the guys came sometime later the year to visit Berlin. One year ago and the crisis now is even worst, so this day was a light day I do not know what they up for now except for rolling down the streets in Athina.
